MCC/JOT COURSE IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT STEPS TO TAKE TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL PILOT.
The MCC certificate is a requirement to be admitted to a Type Rating course for multi-pilot airplanes, such as the Airbus A320 or the Boeing 737.
The JOT course completion certificate is being increasingly requested by major European airlines. EAA offers you the opportunity to take an integrated MCC/JOT course so as you will fully satisfy the current European market requirements.
Competency is a combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform a task to the prescribed standard.
The objectives of MCC training are to develop the technical and non-technical components of those of those characteristics required to operate a multi-crew aircraft.
The training includes a theoretical and a practical part on a FNPTII or FTD simulator.
The objective during the theoretical phase is to develop and / or improve the following skills:
Communication, Leadership & Teamworking, Situation Awareness, Human Factors, Threats and Error Management and CRM
Duration: 25 hours
During the simulator training, which will be an FTD / FNPTII B737, the objective will be, as for the theoretical part, to develop and / or improve the following skills and competences:
Use of Checklist, Workload Management, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Monitoring & Cross Checking, Task Sharing, Briefings, Flight Management, FMS use, Normal and non-normal operations, Environment, weather and ATC
Duration: 20 hours (20 PF + 10 PM)
